Does carbohydrate timing really work? There is a body of research that supports its validity, but it may seem a little counter intuitive. For years I have heard the myth that reducing carbohydrate intake in the evening leads to faster fat loss. However, my experience as a competitor, and a trainer have suggested the opposite. I believe that eating 70% of your carbohydrates in the afternoon and evening actually leads to faster fat loss, and improved blood glucose levels, and insulin sensitivity.
